A lot of golfers agree to the fact that they hit precise shots with less power. While hitting the ball to go for a distance, the entire concentration of a golf player is on hitting it as hard as possible but the speed of the swing can alter the stance and the swinging plane, resulting adversely with the ball ending way off to the right of left of the green.

Making a perfect tee shot and driving it the whole yardage is advantageous on longer holes such as Par 5 holes. If you can make a well aimed soaring shot over most of the course it gives you several advantages over your opponents also you can set for a birdie or even an eagle. Some few techniques a golf player needs to practice at golf range with convenient distance markers available to estimate the length of your drive from the tee.

Make sure that you are completely relaxed and comfortable before you take a tee shot. Superior drivers like Tiger Woods and Ernie Els have a decent driving technique as their swing motion is very loose and extremely fluid. Also make sure your grip is loose too, unlike what people believe, tight grips are not power boosters and they often skew the shots off place.

One more prime technique any golf player needs to keep in mind is that most of the professional golf player keep their head down throughout the swing motion while hitting the shot. Keep your eyes on the ball and do not follow the balls motion. The best possible contact with the ball is made by keeping a locked target on the ball where you want to hit it. Follow the tip and send the ball straight down the fairway.

Body weight has to be transferred during your swing to perfectly execute the tee shot and send the ball farther on the fairway. Just like in boxing, as a boxer packs all his body weight behind every single punch, so a golfer should keep the whole body weight behind the swing. Carefully switch body weights from back foot to front foot and substantially increase the force of your golf shots. With some practice you will get the right timing and motion for perfect execution of tee shots. Improve your skills and gain the extra yardage along the fairway.

With more practice and some professional training you would see yourself hitting perfect tee shots and ever increasing distance of your drive.
